Mix together the cream cheese and mayo. Once it is thoroughly mixed, spread a thin even layer inside the sandwich bread.
Peel the cucumber and slice thinly. Lay the slices on a paper towel or rag to absorb some of the excess moisture. Then, layer the cucumber onto the bread.
Salt and pepper the top of the cucumber layer and then put the remaining bread on top.
Wrap and chill in the fridge before cutting. Once it has chilled, cut off the crusts and cut into 2 or 3 rectangles, or triangles.
